Last week I got the steam controller I had ordered in the mail, and ever since I've been hard at work testing it and making configurations for various games, including some GOG games. Project Eden is an old friend of mine. I remember playing it when it was new and loving every second.

I've tried to tailor the steam controller to work as flawlessly with the game as I possibly can, and believe I've succeeded. I've played quite a bit into the game using only the controller, no mouse or keyboard, and everything felt smooth and intuitive.
I've uploaded the setting I use to an online database so that other people can use it if they so choose.

CONTROLS:

Stick -- Movement
Stick click -- Toggle 1st person/3rd person viewpoint
LT -- Action (Shoot, talk, activate, etc)
RT -- Resource menu on/off
LB and RB -- Previous and next weapon
LGrip -- Walk slowly
RGrip -- Sneak
A -- Select Amber
B -- Select Andre
X -- Select Minoko
Y -- Select Carter
R TrackPad -- Mouse/Aim
R TrackPad click - Follow me command
L TrackPad Left and Right - Previous and Next weapon
L TrackPad Down - Torch on/off
BACK - QuickSave
START - Menu/ESC

These assume default control settings in the settings menu. I've been using the GOG version of the game.
Thanks for your effort and thanks for sharing !
It will help a lot of people with a steam controller !
