Did this game ever get modded/get texture packs? I've searched and so far nothing, but it's relatively obscure so it's possible I missed something.
as far as i remember, the community was never big enough that anyone showed interest in modding it. it was super obscure to the point where i suspect that the community on the official forums were the only ones who ever attempted to play online.
From what I can recall, this never got modded, given that it was SO under the radar when it was released and something of a niche game at that. Outside of the Tomb Raider games (which were single player), I can't recall another game JUST like it that combined action and environmental puzzles AND co-op play (split-screen, at that!) in one experience with that cool regen system that keeps things flowing.
Sadly I remember seeing websites showing screenshots of a level editor, saying that it would "soon" be released to the public, but it never happened to my knowledge.

Despite its flaws I thought that this was a great game. There's never been another one like it, to my knowledge. It debuted before Master Chief made Coop gameplay mainstream again...

But despite searching over the years I've turned up nothing for graphics mods. I remember playing this @ 800*600 on a PIII 550 Mhz on an 8 MB graphics card, later a 64 MB Nvidia GeForce something-or-other, and thinking that the graphics were pretty good (WAY better than the inferior PS2 version, anyhow). Now, of course, the graphics look like garbage and my current graphics cards feel insulted to run it lol.
Too bad there are no texture mods. I haven't played Project Eden a heck of a lot yet because I just bought it on sale, but so far I really like it. It's very unusual and engrossing, but it could really sing with a snazzy hi-res texture pack.

BTW, GoG.com sales are great for blind buying games. Sometimes you're pleasantly surprised, as I have been so far in this case.
