Install OTVDM, then run Project Eden as administrator to get past the black screen

If it helps, it worked great for me when I added the following switches: -gfxsettings -nomovies I didn't have to use OTVDM or run as administrator.

For example:
"D:\GOG Games\Project Eden\Eden.exe" -gfxsettings -nomovies

Same here... But it suddenly works right for me after 3 days...
