I have a problem installing the DLC variaty pack. The DLC "doors go like this" I managed to install by installing it outside of the gog launcher. But the variaty pack simply wont install. I tried verifieng the installation folder and installing it from the downloaded setup but nothing works. Any idea's or suggestions on how to get this working is greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem and contacted the support about it. They were able to reproduce it and contacted the dev, but haven't got any reply yet about when it will be fixed. It hasn't been long since tough, so I'm not desperate yet. ;)

It seems that the installer for the Variety Pack is actually missing the actual files for the DLC. I used an app called "innoextract" to extract the executable and verified that it indeed was missing the files. I used the same app to extract the "Doors Go Like This" DLC and the files are indeed there for that DLC.

Looks like someone there at GOG forgot to add the "content" folder for the DLC when they compiled the installer. Big whoops!

The size of the DLC also seems to indicate missing files, which is the reason why I was hoping it would be a quick fix. I just checked and the ticket was closed, so I don't think I'll be hearing from them on this line, sorry guys.

Thread seems to have gone dead, but GOG is still selling the DLC. Any updates on this? Is the content in the DLC? Or if I purchase it will I be immediately asking for a refund?

I was curious so I tried it again just to check and behold, everything is as it should be. I can confirm that the install files for both DLC are working for the time being, a.k.a. the DLCs are listed in the mod browser and the additional designs appear in the research screen when starting a new game.
