The final version of Prodigy Tactics is now available. For the last ten months this turn-based tactical game was in the 'In Development' phase. The publishers indicate that Prodigy Tactics stands out with an innovative combat system and unique design.
Prodigy Tactics is a new game from the French Hanakai Studio. The publishers are the Polish companies Forever Entertainment S.A., PlayWay S.A. and Ultimate Games S.A. The game appeared in GOG 'In Development' in November 2017 – the date of the official launch was set for September 28th.
“The final version of Prodigy Tactics is significantly expanded. The modes for a single player, include features such as the Stories mode, provides even more than 15 hours of fun. At the same time, multiplayer modes have been improved” indicates the CEO of Forever Entertainment S.A., Zbigniew Dębicki.
The developers proposed gameplay that basically boils down to fights between two teams – in classic arenas on the turn-based system. When one side is preparing an attack, the other side selects the defense or counterattack. An important factor is also played by appropriately placing the figures on the board.
Hanakai Studio has also prepared the Harmony & Dissonance proprietary system, in which force harmony give balance and support, while the strengths of dissonance are more powerful but are more unpredictable powers.
”Harmony & Dissonance is an innovative concept – in practice the player has a choice between a more conservative and risky game style. If we add to this its unique design, it turns out that Prodigy Tactics brings to tactical and strategic games a great breath of freshness” indicates the CEO of Ultimate Games S.A., Mateusz Zawadzki.
In Prodigy Tactics, players can find in total 13 playable characters, each of which has a unique combination of types of attacks. The system of developing characters, in turn, allows for using special passive skills and the improvement of statistics.
The main features of Prodigy Tactics:
• Tactical turn-based game;
• Unique design;
• Harmony & Dissonance system;
• 13 unique, playable characters;
• Diverse arenas;
• 4 single-player game modes (including Stories and Bastion);
• Struggles in multiplayer mode.
