I've confirmed the GOG bug is due to the achievements trying to unlock when GOG is not accessible. Will have a fix up soon.

The temp workaround is to remove the -gogEnabled argument from the shortcut provided when you download the game from GOG.

On a semi-related note, can you tell if there's a way to create a ProNet account manually, i.e. without installing gog galaxy? I assume there must be a way, since there's an option to log in manually.
