Hello,
Please consider changing the checkpoint system. Right now it feels like you are being cloned so all the monsters you slayed before dying stay dead. Too me it's really unrewarding because I can just respawn again and again until nothing stands in my way. Like a lot of players I don't care about scoring so there's really no penalty for players like me.
There's two way you could fix this :
- Either you make the checkpoints act like a real save spot. meaning that if you die your progression is lost after the checkpoint.
- Or a limit to the numbers of respawn as a whole. Like 3 life, (look at Zombotron or Exhumed on pc). You can make it only 3 lifes for the whole level or maybe win a life everytime you activate a checkpoint for the first time. Or even pickup extra lifes.
Really this is the only thing that bugs me about this game. It's a fantastic FPS and deserves all the praises it gets.
