WW crashes when I press enter after typing my game file name in. This happens even when running in the game's safe mode.
I'm not sure if it would affect the game or not, but it should be noted that the game doesn't recognize my AMD A10-6800K processor in the system spec checks when launching the game. I am using Windows 7 x64, and all the other specs of my PC are up to standard for this game, according to its launcher program.

PoP Warrior Within and its predecessor PoP Sands of Time have sometimes problems with multi-core CPUs. Try restricting the game to one core:

- Launch the game. Once you are inside press Alt+Tab to come out to desktop
- Open up Windows Task Manager with right click on Taskbar
- Click on the Processed tab and find the game
- Right click on the game and select Set Affinity
- You will see CPU0, CPU1, CPU2... all checked. Uncheck all of them except one
- Click OK
- Go back into the game, it'll now run on one core (until you start it again)

Maybe that helps.

Also try running the game as Administrator and in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP SP3.

Compatibility mode seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the tip!
