Hey guys,

For some reason this game is giving me massive input lag when connected to my tv. I know that some lag is par for the course with flatscreen tvs, but I don't have this problem with any other game (I tried out Sleeping Dogs, Assassin's Creed Black Flag and a few others just to be sure). It's about 0.5 to 1 second behind.

I also got some screen tearing. V sync works fine and there's no lag when I'm playing on my regular laptop screen. Any ideas? I don't mind playing it on my laptop but the game looks so great I'd love to play it on my big screen.

The TV is an LG 47La6600 and I'm using the following specs'

Lenovo y510p
Intel i7 MQ4600
Nvidia GT 750

Thanks!

The problem could be related to scaling and display refresh rate. Unfortunately I can't remember all the background right now, but there are some issues especially with Nvidia. Update your drivers, disable your laptop display and check the display scaling options in the Nvidia control panel in combination with full screen refresh rates and resolutions.
Managed to sort this. The v sync was causing the lag, but there was hideous screen tearing without it. Using d3d overrider, with the game in compatibility mode for windows 7 (my laptop is running windows 8.1, compatibility mode for the game is essential apparently) and problem solved!

Running d3d overrider on windows 8 is it's own hassle. You try to open it and nothing happens, but you can see the icon appear briefly in the system tray, and if you click on it then, it'll open.

Thanks for your help, it pointed me in the right direction at least!
