Has anyone tried? I'm thinking about getting this for my kid, but I'm not sure her netbook would handle the 3D graphics well.

What kind of netbook are you using?

I'm playing on a laptop with Intel integrated graphics. I can get the exact chipset if you'd like. I had to turn off the shadows to make it run fast enough.
