Let me claryfy:
The game Sands of Time became so awesome because of the time controll, thanks to the infamous Dagger of Time.
Then we have Aperture Science Portal Device, which can create...PORTALS!
Combine now both devices wouldn't that be... the most awesome weapon mankind ever created?

Probably ! If only we actually created any of those weapons =) !
And after all, the most awesome weapon mankind ever created would still be Lara Croft. Suck on that :p !
