Hi Everyone,

I'm experiencing troubles during the real-time cutscenes (the prerendered ones just works fine).
They are really too fast, so the audio and video are completely desync.
The audio even continues after the cutscene ends...

So, er... Any solutions, please?
I'm currently running Win7 64bit, with a Nvidia GTX 260, an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 and 2GB of RAM.

I don't know if you're still checking for replies, or if this will be any help, but I found a thread on the Ubisoft forums while I was looking up the fog issue.

Somebody had a similar problem with Warrior Within's cutscenes and he fixed it by going to the hardware.ini file and setting NonPow2Textures=1

There's a similar entry in the Sands of Time hardware.ini file so I figured that it's worth a shot :) For SoT the hardware.ini file is mixed in with the other game files inside the SoT folder that's inside the GOG folder.

And here's the thread I mentioned in case you want to read it yourself:

Hmmmm, I don't really want to play the game anymore, since it's been a loooong time I gave up because of this annoying bug, plus I had so many other games to finish but hey...

I'm going to give it a try if someone else want a solution to this problem =p
Well guess what, it worked! Thank you very much!
I'm maybe going to finally finish the game, after all =p

I went into the PoP:SoT folder and set NonPow2Textures=1 in the hardware.ini file, but there is a still a desync with the video and audio cutscenes. Is there any other way to fix this?
Hi guys, I am not sure if you are still reading this thread but i think i found another solution to the cutscenes desync, what i did was setting my game in WIN XP (service Pack 2) compatibility mode and then setting in game resolution to highest.

It seems to work for me for now, hope it works for you too :).

PS: sorry for my bad English :)
