Hey guys..I keep getting crashes to desktop with this game under Win7 -- perhaps you can offer a suggestion. Seems to happen randomly, when it does a box pops up that says 'The game ended unexpectedly, check readme' etc etc. Note I didnt have any troubles under XP with the same setup.
Tried XP/Vista compatibility modes, run as admin, on/off vsync..
Specs (if necessary): MSI Radeon 4830/2GB RAM/AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core 5000+. Have all latest drivers.
Here's the crash report:

chautemoc: ...

I'm not sure if windows 7 has the same permission issues with program files that vista has but I would advise trying to reinstall the game into a directory other then program files and seeing if that sorts your problem out.

Perhaps try to disable DEP? I dunno if that would help or not ...

I recently played this (gog version) from start to finish without a single problem on Win7 RC 64 bit with absolutely no fiddling whatsoever during or after install.
If you didn't have any problems with the same hardware setup under XP, chances are it's a driver issue.
I know you said you have all the latest but that doens't mean that they can't get messed up sometimes.
Wish i could be more help ...
Are you running any sort of codecs like K-Lite or FFDSHOW?? Try uninstalling/disabling or add the PoP executable as an exception....
