My God.

THANK YOU!

This game had everything. Atmosphere, music, characters, puzzles, voice-acting, mood...all of the highest possible caliber.

It is now amongst the 5 best adventure games I've ever played and I've played them all.

A magnificent work of art, I have no words.
From Greece, eh? You must be our code James Spanos in disguise!

(Kidding -- right?)

Thanks so much for the kind words. It's reactions like that which make this whole thing worthwhile!
agreed. This is probably now in my top 20 favorite video games of all time.
Actually I just noticed you had a fellow compatriot on board whilst watching the end credits roll, listening to that gorgeous song, but no, I'm not James :)

I do however write and co-direct, ragequit.gr and I just hammered a proper editorial stating why and how Primordia is the new Loom and how badly it kicks AC3's ass on multiple levels.

I get emotional like that ;)

Apart from that, I never really post in forums much, but I was so moved after playing Primordia that I had to congratulate whoever made, wrote, scored and tweaked it in any way. Keep up the incredible work, we'll be watching you!

PS http://ragequit.gr/borrachos-cantina/item/indie-killed-the-aaa-star to keep in your trophy case of virtual oddities. Have James translate ;)

Thank you for the generous reviews! I'm not sure we deserve such lavish praise, but I'm not going to say no to it!
I just finished playing this, and I have to agree with the sentiments in this thread :)

I don't think there`s anything especially innovative or ground-breaking about it, and it`s not flawless, but on a *personal* level it really hit me and appealed to me. Feels kind of crazy calling a new indie adventure game one of my faves of all time, since I've been playing video games (on and off) for decades, but I just really loved the depth and character of the world. There`s a few threads on here that feel like they go a bit *too* deep into the philosophy and history of the world - I'm gonna ignore them for now and just enjoy the experience I had.

With so many games these days, especially the big-budget ones that are hyped up, I end up feeling like I'm getting a lot less than I expected or hoped for. Primordia delighted me by giving me a lot more, obviously not in high-def graphics or endless levels, but so many of the characters and situations that it would throw at you felt deep and full of individual character, instead of the washed-out blandness you get in a lot of other places.

Excellent work!

A wonderful compliment, because you're absolutely right about the first half, which makes even a self-doubter like myself accept the second half! Thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad you liked the game!
Almost as good as Beneath A Steel Sky. I'm not sure anything can top "Tell him you've got a gun Foster".

That being said, Primordia strongly reminded me of BASS, in the limited number of areas full of remarkable characters, good puzzles, great story, and fitting art. The kiosk was just the icing on the cake, fleshing out the story in a way that few other games pull off.

This is definitely one of the best adventure games I've ever played, and I've played most of them.
I have to say, I utterly loved the game as well. Exactly what an adventure game should be. Puzzles were for the most part fairly intuitive and when Adventure Game Logic became too much of a thing, rather substantial hints were just a click away. Story, characters and world were all fantastically written and fleshed out and I loved each one of the endings.

All in all, a fantastic game and I can't wait to see what you fine folks can create next.
Thank you both so much! That's a wonderful way to start the morning (especially when difficult children are depriving me of sleep).
