I do understand I will probably have to change the code of this game I just want to know how.
Anyone has any idea?
True, I don´t see any control options in the Dosbox configuration for the first game.
By the way, does it have any passwords, or you always have to start from the beginning, old-school-arcade style?

The game is running under DosBox. It is possible to change keyboard mapping in DosBox. You can switch to KeyMapper with Ctrl+F1 combination. Here is simple instruction.

There are 4 jumping letters (or numbers) on each level. Every time you're starting the game you can select:
"1 - Start from level 1" or "2 - Password". Just hit 2 and enter the last code you've seen in the game. Remembering those codes is almost like save-load mechanism ;)

I believe this is for Prehistorik 2. Is there any save mechanism for Historik 1? it would be nice to have some rest between the levels because the game is difficult/exhausting. :-)
