hey all,
I am providing photos to this post of the game utilizing the ReShade mod.
I use it to inject SMAA + FXAA + Colorfulness
How you may be asking?
Simple 1st of make sure you got nglide installed.
2ndly goto the game install and delete the opengl.dll files and 3dfx.dll files.
3rdly use the nglide_config.exe in your game install and set it to what you want.
4th ingame goto options and graphics and set it to the banshee renderer at max resolution
5th download the ReShade mod from here
6th run the newly downloaded ReShade_Setup_4.5.4.exe
7th "Click here to select a game and manage its ReShade installation"
8th click the browse button in the bottom right of the newly popped up window
9th select powerslide.exe in your game install
10th select "Direct3D 10/11/12"
11th you choose the shaders you wish to try and use, as I said I only use FXAA+SMAA+Colorfulness
i recommend when it finishes the install to click "Edit ReShade settings" and checking the "Skip Tutorial" box
also I like to note that the shaders or shader mod as a whole will not effect or activate in menus only during actual racing/gameplay
Another thing too is you can press "Home" key ingame to popup the supposed configuration menu for the shaders while in a race/game BUT the game wont let your mouse cursor to be used with it. So the alternative to this problem is to install ReShade to another game that will let you use your mouse cursor to mess with the shader configuration menu and set everything there then exit that game and copy the "DefaultPreset.ini" from that games install to Poweslides install
and again I provided screenies of what it looks like for me ingame
