Back when I was still using versions of Windows that supported this game, it was a blast to play using a wheel and pedals. Has anybody tried the GOG version with a wheel? I ask because I just bought P.O.D. Gold (another ridiculously fun scifi arcade racer) and while it works great with a joystick, it completely ignores my Logitech MOMO Racing wheel and pedals. Racing with a joystick is OK (and my preferred input for motorcycle racing games) but just isn't as much fun or as accurate as it is with a wheel. I'd love to buy this one but will wait until I'm sure it's going to work with a wheel. Then I can consign both of my original PowerSlide CDs to the recycle bin!
Any game that supports analog input should support wheelsets, the only thing to consider is that most arcadey racers don't handle seperate axis for throttle and brake and should be set to combined.
And as these are older games also check if the wheel is set to preferred device in the windows gamecontroller panel.
