According to Nightdive's website, the KEX engine that this game uses was also used for their Turok port. The Turok port, unlike this release, has a native Linux version. Would it be possible to use the older Linux Turok binaries to run the newer Powerslave release?

No as the exe of the Turok game is programmed to seek and load the assets of that game and that game alone.
