Is there a reason why it's a Pkg file not the usual exe?

That's the Mac version. Change it to Windows if you want the normal .exe installer file.

Weird....it was selected for MAC when i downloaded it, I didn't select that

ended up downloading the file through GOG galaxy anyway.
