Are there any mods for Postal 1 that change the control scheme to one with "absolute" directional controls? That is, when you press the Left key, you walk left, and when you press Up, you walk up (or "North", or whatever), instead of rotating to the left when you press Left, and moving forward in whatever direction you happen to be facing when you press Up.

A control scheme like this would have to allow for a strafe key, where the player "locks in" the currently facing direction to run across all directions while firing.

I think the closest you can get to that kind of control scheme is to bind both "Left/Right" and "Strafe" respectively to the Left/Right button (You will notice there are two spaces for binding the "Strafe" command). It's still not absolute, but if you didn't know about this it should be much better than original controls
