Is anyone else able to reproduce this?

On launch I see the warning splash screen then it the entire screen fades to black as if the game is about to start. Then I just get brought back to the desktop.

Anyone able to shed some light on what might be the issue?

Before trying anything else, reboot your computer. Other users were able to solve this issue by that.
