Hey ya'll,
here in the states when you buy Postal the movie, you get postal 2 for free.
I was just wondering if the same is planned.
If so, I'll buy it here, that'll keep me from having to hide a physical dvd of the film from my kids.
I loved the film, and I thought it was genius.

I also enjoyed the movie, it was hilarious. It was actually one of the best video game-movie adaptations I've seen. Although I doubt that there will be a similar tie-in with GOG.com, because of international licencing issues and the like.

seriously, it was a funny ass film - it's not a piece of genius, but if you're not seriously laughing at this movie, then you might want to get checked out with a psychiatrist..

Sure, I'll buy that some parts were just way too crude and offensive, but probably my favorite scene, is when he uses the cat as a silencer, and the cat just walks away, I mean, sure it's stupid funny, and all crude humor, etc, but you have to sort of approach it with that. Like, for the first few minutes I was a stonewall myself, because it was crude then I realised, that's what kind of movie it is and decided to enjoy it as opposed to "RAGE" over it. Life's too short to "RAGE" over potty humor.
well ill just give it another chance then
Postal, the entire franchise from the games and to the film, is a guilty pleasure in my eyes. Postal 2 was tremendously flawed, and relied too much on cheap laughs (and some very good laughs) than it did gameplay. However, I couldn't help but feel that Postal had potential as repulsive as that may sound. There were some ideas in Postal 2, such as being able to play as a pacifist, or having to break out of jail, that I really liked. And like I said, this game will make you laugh (albeit sometimes in a cheap way.) Hopefully, RWS will perfect and redeem the entire franchise Postal 3. It's running on a great engine (Source rules and I don't care what anyone else says!), the combat looks improved (cover-system; zoom aim), and I like the idea of doing drive bys on a segway (lol!)
As for the movie... I gotta' say, I liked it. The first half was pure genious! The first-five minutes were the best five-minutes in cinema history! And it goes on from there until the second-half of the film. The second-half isn't as strong as the first-half, but when it's good, IT'S GOOD! I hope someone takes insperation from the high-points of this film and perfects them like what Postal 3 will hopefully do for the games.
So, I'm keeping my eye on Postal 3, and Uwe Boll. Who knows? Anything's possilbe in the future. For all we know, RWS and Uwe Boll will bring world peace!
And if you still hate Uwe Boll, remember: Postal 3 is running on the Source engine, and it's been confirmed that Uwe Boll will be in the game. You know what that means? Garry's Mod baby! 100 Ways to Kill Uwe Boll!

I should buy the movie if this is true, because the movie is way cheaper than the game is.

Yeah, that's why I'm probably not going to buy postal 2 here unless it comes with the film.
The movie Postal actually didnt have anything to do with the game, right? Apart from having a guy using a cat as a silencer, what else was there from the game?
