There is something very wrong with the color in Postal 2 AW. Fresh install, Windows 7x64, Core i7, GeForce 330m, nVidia driver 301.42.

Picture is included. The "problem" is solved by changing the renderer to OpenGL but performance becomes terrible and there is no lighting in the game as well as just generally looking awful in all other ways by comparison.

I have a vague recollection of playing the game years ago and there being some kind of effect on the windows that maybe is going wrong here resulting in turning everything through a window blue, but you can see that the scissor box is also the same odd shade of blue which is different from how it should look normally.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do. Of course I tried all the compatibility settings and all that to no avail. It's clearly something involving the Direct3D rendering system with this game but I haven't a clue how to go about resolving it. I'm hoping someone else has encountered and vanquished this or has a clue.

Thank you for any assistance.

That screenshot looks completely normal - aside from the blue windows (which is how they look on my system), everything is the color it should be (yes, the scissor boxes are supposed to be that shade of blue). I don't know for sure if that's how the windows are supposed to look (though the fact that windows in other areas are clear on my system makes me think they are supposed to look like that), but frankly they look really nice like that, and if you're not having any other graphics problems then I'd say you're fine.
