Weclock: keep the trash talk short and sweet?
maybe I take extra offense, because I share the same state as the developers, but seriously, If you take exception with it being a "Good Old Game" talk to the devs directly through using their support system, fighting on the forums won't get you any where.

You bash everyone who has written a negative review of your beloved shitty games Postal 1 & 2, you act like a smart alec online telling everyone their opinion isn't valid and to write 2 page reviews in order to piss them off and waste their time.
The saddest thing is you are wasting my time because I rarely take part in forums, solely because of people who act like dicks such as yourself.
I wish I could meet you in real life and see what kind of a person feels it necessary to poke and prod others online who wish to have casual discussions.

And I wasn't bashing everyone who wrote a negative review, I was bashing everyone who wrote a shitty negative review. You can write a negative review and still accurately judge a game, most of the reviews were either like "it's not as good as X game." or "violence isn't cool!"
those are not suitable points for a WHOLE review, I'd like to see someone put some actual content into the reviews they write. I wrote a review about Duke Nukem Manhattan Project, and I highlighted both the good and the bad to let consumers know what to expect, in a fair manner. I didn't say "Oh this game is super cool!" and ignore the bad points, and I didn't say "Oh this game sucks ass." and ignore the good points.
Even if a game is total crap, you should be able to come up with more than two or three sentences for a review if you actually played the game recently! If it's been years since you've played it, play it again, the version you played is not the most current version, through patches and etc the games have matured greatly, Postal 2 uses the UE2 engine as opposed to UE1 now, that's a major difference.
Anyway, my point is on those bad reviews, people were just bashing the game and looking for an argument, if they wanted to give a real, actual review, they would have given a solid one. Instead they are trolling, and if it's the case that you feel the game isn't as good as the GOG staffers and many other paying customers do, that's cool, you're entitled to your opinion, but if you don't want a fight but still want to voice your opinion, don't voice your opinion in a way that's going to start a fight.
It's like if I think Harley motorcycles are shitty, I don't go to a Harley motorcycle bar and start saying "Yeah, Harley motorcycles break down and are dumb and dangerous!!" If I had an actual issue other than some fanboyish hate, I'd contact Harley directly and tell them that I'm concerned about their product. I wouldn't start throwing straw man examples with little to no elaboration on my thoughts as to why I felt that way. Coming here, and talking trash, without having good examples to back up your statements is the equivalent of starting and E-Fight.
