Self explanatory, really... is there a mod to make Postal run in higher resolutions, like Fallout and Fallout 2 and other games like this have?
Thanks.

It's pretty hi-res on its own anyway (if you don't mind barfing into your sock every time you see a fugly polygon).
Well, I'm using the Windows 7 Release Candidate and I found out a trick how to play in your native desktop resolution. Just deactivate "full screen" in the options menu and pull the window to the upper screenborder. It will transform into full screen from alone, in the resolution you are using.
This worked for me on my native resolution of 1680x1050, I think it should work with other resolutions too :D
Here's a guide getting it into widescreen resolutions.

Too bad it's not for first Postal. :(

Not anymore, apparently :-(
They moved it. Here's the new link.

Thanks, but I figured out the solution on my own. I examined the INI files from my UT2004 and made the appropriate changes to the corresponding INI files in the Postal 2 System folder.

Weird. I can't find user.ini and postal2.ini only has
[General]
Start=Postal 2 (Starting)
Exit=Postal 2 (Exiting)
Run=Postal 2 (Running)
Product=Postal 2
in it.
Any suggestions?

Only thing I can think of is maybe you haven't run the game yet, so those files weren't created.

I'm having the same problem. Does nobody knows how to fix it?

As Vagabond said, your user.ini and postal2.ini are not created. The listed contents are not from Postal2.ini, but from Postal2.int (localization support file).
I found this problem when installing my old Postal2 Share the Pain CD on Windows 7 64-bit, because the DRM doesnt work so I cannot start the game (the attached screenshot is the only thing it outputs, despite rebooting). The same CD installs without problems on Windows XP SP2 32-bit
I am about to buy here "POSTAL 2 COMPLETE" just to get Apocalypse Weekend and nVidia 3Dvision support (which needs Windows 7), trusting the basic details page which says "compatible with Windows XP & Windows Vista (32 & 64 bit)", but your post makes me think twice...
Did you installed GOG's version? Under which OS? Is it the 32 or 64 bit version?

Yop, I got the GOG version. I'm using Windows Vista 32 bit. But besides that I'm not able to change the resolution I haven't had any problems..
UPDATE: I've just installed Postal 2 from GOG on Windows 7. There's no problems at all.

That's GoG's selling point :)
