So I know the game has.. some controller support by default by I can't seem to get it working consistently. On my first attempt to use my PS4 controller (with the input setting set to PS4) it made the screen just spin around

So I try using DS4 Windows, and try to have it act a as a 360 controller (and using xbox 360 for input settings), and I had success there. But When i tabbed out of the game and came back suddenly I can't look up or down the way i want to (I use inverted Y axis) the game had reverted my inverted setting somehow even thought he box is still ticked. on top of that the look acceleration went way up to.

Fiddling with the settings didn't help and even trying to reset the game couldn't seem to get the settings back in order. Is there some way to get this game working with controller solidly? No offense to those who put a lot of work into this. but it feels like it's held together with duct tape and paper clips.
