To make it easier for RWS, i made this thread to gather all feedback/suggestions the community comes up with. So post away!

PS: I will try to curate this top post with other peoples additions and delete anything that has been added by RWS.

To start off, my first feedback would be about the shovel and its dismember effect or lack thereof. Postal 2 had the shovel poke cut off limbs, the new spike tip shovel does not do so yet. So, maybe this could be added/changed?

Also, i hope we get the good old regular shovel back, not just the spiky version.

For all others who already mentioned this: Yes the voice for the Postal Dude doesnt quite fit. I only put this one here so it doesnt show up in the replies to this. Its covered now, and RWS is aware of it.

Fast travel points. Considering how big the map is gonna be in the end, this would help greatly in reducing travel time across it.

Achievement suggestion: Games Journalist (less than 5% of bullets fired actually hit a target). (Suggested by fronzelneekburm)

Winning tickets at the arcade by playing air hockey/basketball/etc to redeem for items. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Ability to hotkey weapon loadouts. With the numerous weapons of Postal 4, switching between them could be an issue at times when wanting to get to certain weapons in a hurry. Just in addition to the main weapon selection being able to setup hotkeyed weapon sets would be great. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Pickup notifications. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Ability to pickup and throw stuff life the propane tanks. It also could be a detriment to the player if carrying during a fire fight and it gets shot. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Kicking soda/snack vending machines to get the machine to drop a random number of low tier healing items. It also would attract a wanted level from law enforcement. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Ability to purchase other horn sounds such as la cucaracha or an airhorn. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Scooter jousting inside the arena. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

If for some reason another gas station/convenience store gets added the name Pump N Dump needs to be used. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

Also having a RWS sign as a skin for the shovel will work instead of having a separate weapon that would be a duplicate more or less. (suggested by EnforcerSunWoo)

We need a topical weapon. Postal 2 had the anthrax-filled cow head, Postal 4 could have a narwhal tusk. Primary fire would work similar to the police baton in P2 (beat up people with it), while secondary fire would work like the secondary fire of the samurai sword in earlier incarnations of the A Week In Paradise mod (you throw the tusk in a straight line until it impales a target. Bonus points if you could use it to pin people to walls with it).

How about some of these additions?

Being able to roll a head like a bowling ball to knock over pedestrians.

I know that there is going to be a mobility scooter arena, but what about optional scooter races around town to win money?

Even better, Rick Hunter as Rick Hunter with at least one decent length, fully voiced line.

Some bonus unlockables would be nice for people that have one or more of the previous games installed.

Stupid idea (again, tho now on different forum than steme):
Since the game is in perpetual monday untill end of (presumingly beta) we have plenty of itterations to go through.
Why not make fun of this Monday forever scenario? Reference Groundhog day (or edge of tomorrow for you kids) or Garfield or have JSJ mock the repetition (in full release) by drawing attention to it vie witicism.

Now i have complete faith in annyone to come up with beter shots at monday than me so please do post your own, but to get things kicked off ill include but a few:
"Is it Monday AGAIN?!" (start of the game if played through to completition once before and than every odd replay after)
"I hope that tomorrow will not be another Monday, i can not stand having 2 in a row" (obviously evening just when the cutscene fades out),
"Well, what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today." (yes stealing directly from aforementioend movies now),
"Wake up, die, repeat"

Would be pointless as we get the other days eventually. And we are in Alpha right now, not beta. Check the roadmap for more details on whats to come and at times, when. In the base game we will have 5 days with main and side errands.

In the next patch we might already get Police and exploding cars.

"till the end of beta" dose not mean that we are ion Beta, i am well awere of this being janky alpha build. My intent is to have this line in the game forever incase people in the future (even after full release) play the game again and again and again, as i do with postal 2.

Are pickup notifications coming anytime soon btw? Sometimes it is hard to tell what you are picking up

Someone made this suggestion on Steam, but I do like the idea of having the Running with Scissors sign as an weapon that would just act like the shovel.

Guess my thoughts are that the normal throwing of a propane tank wouldn't cause it to explode, but it being hit by enough gunfire would. Throwing one after using Vitamin X however... (same would apply to a normal kick vs vitamin x kick)
