So, I am having probems with PR2 graphics. I am using a laptop with a dedicated card and windows 8. First, i had problems with water in the main menu but that wasnt hard to fix - apparently many people had this issue and i just had to follow the instructions. But when i launch the game i can only see a dark glitchy screen in town and the game freezes. Any solutions?

Copied two relevant parts from the game's card:
1) Compatibility notice: Requires Catalyst 12.6 or older drivers when playing on an ATI/AMD graphic card.
2) DirectX 7 (compatible with DirectX 9 recommended).

If your Windows computer is reasonably modern with it probably did not come with DX9 but a later version that does not include DX9. Here is link to MS https://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/download/details.aspx?id=8109

I have the same problem with glitches of water...

And when setting compatibility to Windows XP SP2, as suggested on other threads, the game doesn't launch (although it appears in task manager)...

Anyone has a beginning of advice ?
