hi there i'm new in the forum, not in the game.
i really enjoyed playing PR1, and recently i started playing with it again. i played PR1 but also Patrician 3 (that i considere my favourite game ever) that i started playing about 9 years ago.
i can't remember when i started PR1 but i remember clearly that is after P3.

i have a problem: i can't solve the Bermuda problem: i mean i joined the inn of all towns, and sometimes i found a men that told me that some ship shipwrecked, strange lights, and go on... how can i solve this riddle ?

As far as I know, there is no solution to this. It's more of a cock-and-bull story implemented to add to atmosphere. Nobody I know of ever found anything, including me.

That's correct, there's no quest attached to it.
If there was, the hints would probably be saved in the log.

anybody knows how to play my italian saves (regular italian version of the game) in an english version of PR1 ? it says that there is an error :(

There's not much you can do. Maybe it's not possible.

In addition to the savegame files in the \save folder (*.mrk), there are player files in the \run folder, e.g. Player0L1.aim . Try copying them too.
In the \save folder is also a file called options.sav. Copying this could cause problems, if the options from your Italian version collide with the GOG version. But maybe this file is necessary and must be copied. Try different combinations and if nothing works, the old saves are probably incompatible.

You find the files on your PC, in the folder, where you installed Port Royale.
There should be the sub-folders "save" and "run". In "save" is another sub-folder called "AutoRoutes", which contains your saved autoroutes, if you have any.
