If the GOG.com version isn't playing ball, download the 27MB installer that's located in a post earlier in this thread, then just copy over the missing content from the GOG.com version to that download (ie the video files, the audio files and Undiscovered Worlds). It may or may not work (it worked for me, since the GOG.com version was screwed up by my GPU and unplayable).
