Whenever i try to launch Populous ; The Beginning, i get the message "GOGSetup.exe. has stopped working" and the notification that (DEP) Data Execution Prevention has closed GOGsetup.exe to secure my computer.

I tried disabling DEP for Populous but my computer is not allowing DEP to be disabled.

Anny help?

Add the GOGSetup.exe and GOGLauncher.exe to the list of allowed programs in DEP.

Try navigating to the installation directory (by default Program Files x86\GOG.Com\Populous 3\) and directly running either D3DPopTB (hardware mode) or PopTB.exe (software mode).
