I am in the airport, asking for the list yet I find nothing in the list (and according to videos I should find Pate's name in the list).

Go to the other clerk, the one who says she is busy. If you show her your badge, she will talk to you (since cops are a priority) and if you ask her for a list, she will give you a different list. That list should have Pate's name.
