awrussell84: I've been trying for a few days to get past a problem I've been having with PQ4. The game loads fine, and the first scene starts, but whenever I complete an action which includes any dialog, there is a brief pause in the game, which repeats maybe once every 3 seconds until the spoken dialog is over. When no dialog is playing, the music plays fine and the game runs smoothly. Anyone had a similar issue?

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate ed.

Here are a few things I've tried in order to rectify this problem, without success:-

- DosBOX cycle speed
- Processor Affinity
- Administrator settings
- Compatibility
- Mounting the ISO and doing my own DosBOX installation
