Hi all. I don't remember the graphics being as washed out as they appear now, like the faces, etc. Here's a pic to show what I mean. Am I misremembering the quality of the graphic detail, or is there something I can do to enhance it? Thanks for any replies.

Nope, those are the regular graphics of Police Quest IV. There's no hi-res version of that game. Memory plays tricks like that sometimes, there's plenty of games from my youth which I remember with more colors and smaller pixels than their real counterpart.

To be fair the floppy version and the cd-rom version are different. While neither are fully 'hi-res', the cd-rom version added hi-res elements, in the menu, inventory and in a few other places.

You remember everything correctly. Even though they had more advanced technology when "Police Quest 4" came out, it still has the worst graphics of any "Police Quest" game, at least for the time that each game came out.
