Okay, so I played "Police Quest 4," and on day 5 the first thing I did was go to the movie theater. I couldn't get anything to happen no matter how much I talked to the guy or wandered around the theater. After looking at a "Let's Play" online, I learned that I was supposed to go to Social Services before I went to the movie theater. I did not do that, so I can't ask Mitchell about Luella. And I haven't figured out how to leave the theater. Is there a way to manually leave the theater once you're there?

It's been a long time since I last played this, so I don't remember if you could get stuck there or not. But if you can't just walk out the theatre then you're stuck and you'll have to load an earlier save (hopefully you have one).
