I bought the Police Quest series last week and had no problems playing through Police Quest 1 VGA. Now I'm on Police Quest 2 and every time I try to enter my office where my desk and the Captain and Keith is, the game crashes. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 7 4000 series and Nvidia GeForce GTX if that helps. Please help and thanks!

Are you playing it through ScummVM or DosBox? Do you get an error when it crashes?

I'm playing through DosBox. I launch the game through GoG Galaxy or the shortcut on my desktop. I don't even get an error. As soon as I walk in the office, I see DosBox for a split second and it just kicks me back to GoG Galaxy. So far that seems to be the only room I am having issues with.

I'd try running it through ScummVM and seeing if you still have the crash

I don't think I have that option since GOG Galaxy uses DOSBox. Anyway I think I made a workaround for it. I made a new folder and copied the game files to the new folder, run DOSBox manually through a shortcut I made and turned the cycles down. It's not as convenient as starting the game through GOG Galaxy but at least I can play it now with no issues so far. Thank you anyway!
