Everything's unlocked from the start. You get the option to Reverse tracks when finishing a complete championship (e.g. drive them backwards).

Just add Tonneau=-2 -2 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 to the [POD2_0] section in your <PodGog>\UbiSoft\Ubi.ini to enable the Reverse button (mirror mode) for all three difficulty levels by default.
