I just finished a championship (great fun!) and noticed that the race background music kept playing over the outro animation, which has it's own sound and music. Does anybody know if this was also an issue with the orginal POD/POD Gold, which used redbook audio, or if this is something introduced with GOG's version?
As I remember, this bug can occurs sometime in original pod gold (not sure for pod 1.0) but it was relatively rare. Sometimes, when a race ended, the music races continues on next menu.
It should be due to the fact that music are in a CDDA format on original version and that the drivers/CD does not receive well the stop playing command.

But it may be possible that the gog version has add a new bug, I wil give it a try.

Yes, this also happened with the original version of POD from time to time, due to how it accesses the music from Redbook audio on the CD. This GOG version uses an MP3, but it acts in the same way as the CD audio did, so it's not too surprising that it may happen.
