Hello,

Here are the exact steps I did to run POD at 1920x1200. There is already information in the forum on the various tools used (dgVoodoo and PodHacks), but maybe it will help someone to have the exact steps for a working solution.

The machine runs windows 7 64bit + ATI HD 5770.

1) Install gog version of POD
2) Extract dgVoodooSetup.exe and glide2x.dll from dgVoodoo1.50Beta2.zip (download here) into the POD installation directory
3) run dgVoodooSetup.exe, set Renderer API to Direct3D9
4) In Glide tab: set resolution to 1920x1200 (setting a resolution also fixes grSstWinOpen Error)
5) Extract PodHacks in installation directory (tested with v2.2c)
6) run PodHacks, select PODX3dfx
7) Optional: force antialiasing for POD in your graphic driver settings (nvidia or ati control panel)
8) play

video of how it looks on a lap of track Alderon (1080p)
(the slight jumpiness and out-of-sync audio are recording issues, not present in game)

Thank you lptrkc,

Excellent post. Thanks to your write up and for the links.

It saved me time and I found myself setting up and playing POD faster than Flatout Ultimate Carnage (damn Games for Windows) on my x64 Win7 setup with ATI HD5870.

Resolution 1920x1200.

PodHacks used in my case is latest version 3.9, still works when setup like you describe.
