It ends a week before the launch of the EE. Wouldn't it be fair to give owners of the original a chance to base their purchase decision on actual EE game reviews? Why that haste?

I agree. I want to wait for the italian patch to buy this EE, and I have the original planescape torment.
I will not be able to buy it with the discount.
