After I get Morte back from Lothar, I noticed that ALL his stuff was gone, including his +1 teeth. Looked all around Lothars place, couldn't find his stuff

IIRC, the nearest party member to him at his capture, gets all his stuff. I could be wrong though. I don't remember having that problem.
Try checking all of your party member's inventorys, and also check the spot where he got abducted.

All his stuff was left on the spot he got kidnapped, so that would be near gates. However if some days have passed it is gone forever.
