(My post contains end-game SPOILERS, so those who haven't yet finished the game, please don't read this thread, for your own enjoyment).

Alright I've absorbed the good incarnation and the practical incarnation, but I've tried everything to absorb the paranoid incarnation, and its been to no avail. This to the point that I actually looked into a walkthrough, and thus learned that I must speak the language of Uyo to him.

My TNO knows the language of Uyo as I've finished the dodecheydron quest, but there are no dialogue options that come up when talking w/the paranoid incarnation to bring up talking to him in Uyo.

So my questions are as follows:

1) What can I do to get those dialogue options?

or

2) What can a TNO who is a Thief w/just 15STR do to kill the paranoid incarnation? He's been tougher than the Fiend from Moridor's Box, as there are no places to hide when fighting this paranoid one! Ha!
This question / problem has been solved by Exportimage
Ummm.....nevermind, please.

I couldn't get the dialogue options, so I fought'em and won. And then I completed the game shortly after that.

And what an awsome game it was!!!!! For real!

Well just for anyone else who has this problem (from GameFAQs):

"There are several ways to deal with Paranoid (besides simply fighting
him). If you've choked anyone during the game, you can Lock your hands
around his throat and choke him. Then with a STR of 21, Paranoid will
realize he can't win, and he'll merge with you:

64,000 experience
STR +1
CON +1

Or you can talk to him in the language of Uyo (you must have learned it
earlier, or have an INT of at least 16). Then you simply must convince
him that you are one in the same, and that he should merge with you.
The reward is the same as above."

I'm not sure if something went wrong with the quest for you earlier in the game, or if you somehow didn't see it all the way through to the end (like, did you just get the dodecahedron or did you actually speak to the dead guy with Stories-bones-tell and find out it was you that killed him?) Or maybe when the FAQ writer says that you must have learned the language or have at least 16 INT, he means and have at least 16 INT.

Yeah my TNO only had 14 INT (15 after dealing w/the Practical incarnation). I had completed all the imperative quests, so it was an INT problem.

Wow. What a game this was!

You finished it?

I simply killed TPO [The Paranoid One], as I couldnt merge with him (he became the dominant personality and my quest was lost).
Oh yeah. I used a confusion enchanted weapon on TPO, and he then began going at the Practical One, giving me a few free hits on him! LOL! Then he paid more attention to me, I ourtan him, was able to thus hide in shadows, and finally got the deathblow on'em.

Awsome game. I finished it last Saturday.
