It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Here is it:
http://www.bootstrike.com/Torment/files.html

What you should get is at least

- Widescreen MOD v2.31 By The BIGG (634 KB)
- Planescape: Torment User Interface By GhostDog v2.1 (17.4 MB)

don't let be fooled by the name, the Widescreen MOD improves resolution, you can set also non-wide ratios.

- Restoration Pack
Adds official content that was removed from the original release

For the ones with an original retail version of the game, you can grab the book listed on GOG bonus content here for free:

http://www.wischik.com/lu/senses/pst-book.html

It's basically the whole game dialogues, written by Chris Avellone and Colin McComb, novelized by Rhyss Hess. It's the faithful story of the game, so not made for the ones playing the game for the first time as it's basically one huge spoiler in pdf format ;)

Any idea where to find info about what exactly is restored in the Restoration Pack? Or a list of what was removed.

Thanks for posting this!!!!!

Slightly newer version of the widescreen mod + some other content though, thanks..I'll make a note in that thread.
added the book by Rhyss Hess, i think it's the same released as bonus content by GOG
Having a problem installing the UI mod by Ghost Dog. says it cannot find dialogue.txt or something and it's not letting me manually select a destination folder.
This mod is a MUST. Now I can play not only 800x600 but 1920x1200 resolution with bigger fonts :)

Copy all of the files in the zip to your Planescape folder, then run the setup.
Yeah, I figured it out after reading around some more.

Thanks anyways!

For some reason I can't get this to work - when I install it, it shoves the game in the upper left hand corner of the screen and surrounds that by a black box.

It sounds like you haven't installed Ghostdog's UI mod, try installing/reinstalling that, it should center the movies, menus, and other things the widescreen mod breaks.

The movies are at 640x480 resolution, so they'll always be in a small box, and I think it's better that way, as they look much sharper than when they're covering my monitor in pixels the size of my little toe.

Be sure the values you set for the resolution mod matches the resolution of your monitor, as well.
Ah, I was planning on playing it in 800x600, but my monitor is 1440x900. guess I'll have to change that. Thanks for the tip

oh yes, forgot to say that it's safer to use your desktop resolution.
Higher resolutions will just display more of the map, so it's something good both graphically and from a gameplay standpoint
Platter's patch (aka fixpack, included in other later community patches) is essential for this game. This should be pointed out in a sticky, but since there are already several topics on modding..
I was able to get all the patches/fixes and stuff installed due to the other thread. Thanks for your help
