I've tried the following:

- Reinstalled and run vanilla GOG version 3 times, launching from installation window and desktop icon.

- Installed each of the 3 main mods (Fix pack, Ghostdog's UI and Bigg's Widescreen) and run the game after each.

Each time the screen goes black for a few seconds then I get a window telling me that Planescape: Torment has stopped responding, with the following details:

My PC in a nutshell:

- Win 7 Pro x64
- i5 2500k
- GTX 680
- Asus D2X (soundcard)
- 16 Gb RAM
- Terabytes of free space on both OS and data drives
- No overclocking, RAID etc
- Running Avast! AV & Epson drivers and nothing else that comes to mind; Win 7 user account protection thingy disabled and an administrator account.

Any ideas what could be causing this problem? Thanks in advance.

i have the same problem. i also have a gtx 680 and im wondering if the problem is related. i cant find a fix anywhere!
Same issue...fixed it by creating a torment.exe profile under "Manage 3D settings", and set "Preferred refresh rate" to "Application Controlled". I usually run my monitor at 120hz, but this application does not seem to like it.
