I just started the game to see how it ran and you can see the main character's "hitbox" in addition the whole sprite flickers. Also the first NPCs you meet you can only see their heads.

One other thing, in the menu the cursor has a tail that doesn't disappear until you click a advance the menu.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Which mods did you add, if any?
Didn't add any mods.

What card do you have? Nvidia? It sounds like a DirectDraw issue.

That's probably why I didn't have that problem then... I'm on an ATI card.

I got an ATI HD 3800 series. Trying the above fixes now.
