I bought this game a few days ago, and today I finally had the time to test it, but it's a little buggy. I tried installing the widescreen mod and then Ghostdog's mod, but when I tested the game, it was fine until the first dialogue of the game ended. Then, my screen cursor started to go all the way to the right, and the game is unplayable because of that.

I removed both mods and the problem is still there, so it's probably unrelated to the mods. I search through this forum for a solution and even downloaded the Compatibility Administrator and ran the game with the following flags, as suggested on other topics:

- EmulateHeap
- IgnoreCRTExit
- IgnoreFreeLibrary
- ForceDirectDrawEmulation

This fixed another problem (crashing on exit), but this cursor problem doesn't seem to go away! I'm on Windows 7 64 bits and my graphic card is an NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT. Any help would be appreciated.
I have the same graphics card and OS as you, and this fixed it for me.

Thanks for the fast reply, but even after applying this patch my cursor keeps going to the right all the time =( if I click in one of the characters it returns the screen to where they are, but then continues pushing the screen to the left...

Weird. Sounds like it could be an issue with your mouse drivers and the game. Do you have a different mouse/trackpad to try with it?

Unfortunately, not right now, but I'll give it a try as soon as possible. I tried the D3DWindower program and the pst-drawfix too, and nothing's seems to work, so I mouse is definetely a suspect now. It's wired, though, and shouldn't be causing troubles...
Have you tried this fix:

Try rebooting your computer. That usually fixes it for me. It happens rarely, no idea trigger. Probably something system / OS specific glitch with mouse or keyboard driver.
Yeah I did, same problem.

I tried messing around with the game, and when I tried to save adn the game asked for a name, it just wrote a bunch of "6"s automatically o_o then I canceled it, and after a few seconds it went back to normal, and the game itself stopped pushing the screen. Very very weird, I hope this trend doesn't continue...

Thank you everyone for the help!

"666" that's weird and little bit creepy. Joking aside, did this happen with other application? Try open notepad and see whether it's related to your mouse or keyboard problem.
