Game crashes and I'm almost certain it has something to do with either syncing saves to cloud or Galaxy overlay informing about it. Anyone else experienced it?

Ok, as the game was "+-~" just released I am switching back from playing to forum and from forum to playing... just to report/read what is written so far,,,, but for now I cannot report a crash or failure of it - but I am using the downloaded installer and not something via galaxy.....

Edit: Forgot to say: Win 7/x64 on a Lenovo T410....

A Beamdog product being buggy and crashing a lot??? NOOOO. (sarcasm)

This is why pre-ordering is bad. More often than not, the games are buggy as heck on release.

My best advice is to just wait for some weeks\months til the game has been patched.

Sorry to hear that, at what point did it start and what OS are you using? I haven't had in crashes yet but I'm still in the Mortuary right now. I'm using Windows 10.

I got Windows 10 and Lenovo T510.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. Thanks to the new ability to turn off overlay in Galaxy patch 1.2.5 I pinpointed what was crashing the game - it was the overlay :). After turning it off game runs tip-top.
