*SPOILERS IN THIS TOPIC*

Something I was wondering about and please share if anyone has any thoughts on this matter.

Lets say that TNO does everything almost perfect: Gathering all vital/powerful items. Gaining lots of experience, knowledge, sensations and skills. Getting the extra bonuses. Gathering the party memebers and improving upon them. But when you come to the 3 previous incarnations you attempt to join with the pratical incarnation first, however your wisdom and intelligence are 20 or under, meaning he wins the contest of will.

He himself would become wiser as he would gain memories from the current incarnation, making him more powerful. He could merge with the good incarnation easily enough, making him more powerful again. Seeing as he manipulated people so well and he probably would many of the current incarnations memories, he could probably merge with the paranoid incarnation too.

How would the pratical incarnation do in your body, could he win? If he was succesful at the end, would it matter that he won the contest of will? What option would he choose at the end?

-Edit-

Also if you have the bronze sphere, he could use it, gaining more abilities. I'd imagine his Wisdom and Intelligence is very high already, probably 21 and 21. Thats why you need to match it to win. With him gaining some of the current incarnations knowledge, the good incarnations knowledge and gaining experience via the bronze sphere he could probably have a wisdom of 23 and with your possessions could pick any ending.

Indeed, he does comment on the bronze sphere if you say you have it with you; something like, "It's good that you've brought it, I'll make good use of it later." I like to see the TNO incarnation I control in the game as a cross of both the Practical and the Good incarnation, so the Practical incarnation may as well have the same ending, only with much less regret. The Practical incarnation regrets nothing, and not even the bronze sphere could do anything in that regard, IMO.
On the first look giving the power to the practical incarnation because of the higher success chance really looks like a smart thing to do.
It could be an interesting alternative ending just watching him beating TTO.

But even if this incarnation had the required wis and cha to get the dialogue option he wouldn't use them because of his personality.
Would he even want to get mortal again and accept his punishment ?

Charon121 – Once successful, it wouldn’t matter. I imagined that he would gain the experience of the previous incarnations, making them one. Though I would also guess which ever personality was in charge at the time would be the dominant personality.

Kmonster - Those stats for the practical incarnation don't make sense, why a strength of 25 for a mage and 16 for Wisdom. The only incarnation who had the foresight to plan to assist future incarnations after his potential failure.

I also agree that his personality is different but also remember he knew how to manipulate the party members into doing what he wanted, even though it meant risking and/or sacrificing their lives. So I’m sure he would have no qualms in at least trying to manipulating TTO.
