Hello there folks! I have finally joined the ranks of the PST RPG Clan, but I come seeking some help with a few issues I have before I begin the game. I do hope you all can assist :-).

1. What are THE best stats for a Mage? Id heard that 18 Wis, 17 Int, 13 Cha and 9/9/9 were the best for dialogue, charisma checks and the like, is this true?

2. Is there a "highlight all" button like ALT used to do in Baldur's Gate 1/2?

3. I have fully installed all the mods as per the guide from GOG. Everything is looking and working great. I am runnin on my laptop at 1366x768. There is a strange glitch, whereby certain text is not fitting inside buttons. For example in the Character Creation screen the ACCEPT/CANCEL buttons are too large and cut off the end of the word. In other cases letters and entire words dont fit in their relative space and spill downwards. Can we fix this?

Other than that Im good to go and very excited. Id be really appreciative of any help. Thank you. :-D

1. Yep. Though, personally, I keep Int at 16; it's enough for most early dialogue checks, and you'll be getting bonuses from Mage specializations and tattoos. But then, it's not like there's any sense in putting points elsewhere...

2. AFAIK, no. It's a different version of the engine, apparently one that doesn't support this function.

3. No idea; I'd guess it has to do with Ghostdog's UI, possibly in combination with Qwinn's "Use Floating Text Font Globally" if you have it. You can usually try reconfiguring the UI by running its setup file again. Try different font sizes.

You, sirrah, are a star. That has answered and FIXED all my questions. For 3 it was exactly as you said, having the Floating Global Text messed that up for me. Thank you so much, and if it applies - Happy Holidays. :-D
