Hey guys, first time poster here. I purchased Planescape and Arcanum recently. Arcanum works brilliantly, no problem at all. However, I've had a few crashes with Planescape when I started playing. No idea why, and I've never played it beforehand, so not sure what causes could be. First crash occurred when entering a blue portal that exits the Dustman building. Second crash occurred soon after, when I entered a house in town. Both are straight crashes-to-desktop.

Try deleting any files in the /temp and /cache directories of the game.

Also changing the resolution of the game via the widescreen mod during play can cause crashes.
